SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. here The services position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
